Yellow Line stuck on my monitor

I have an ASUS MG248q gaming monitor and after 6 hours of the screen being fine a yellow line appeared on the right side. This monitor costs $250 and I really don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. Any ideas?

try the monitor on another computer even a friend's to see if still have that issue. try a different videocable as maybe yours is bad but doubtful.

you can run a dead pixel program free off the net to see if corrects the line problem while at same time you massage that line as a customer did that on his monitor with at least 2 lines on it & got rid of them.
