So I am finally getting some parts for a new build after about eight years thanks to black friday deals. My current setup doesn't use an optical drive. I am wondering about installing a fresh copy of windows ten on my new build without access to an optical drive.

When you purchase the Win 10, you can buy it directly on a USB.
