Question regarding drivers automatically being installed

I have a new PC where

Once I finished installing Win 10 Pro, it automatically installs every single driver, except Nvidia of course and I can use it right away.

Is this because of Win 10 or my mobo ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming Aura which has this function??

Normally when I install Win 7/8, I have to manually download all drivers and install each of them.
This is the first time I'm seeing everything being installed by itself without even doing anything.

This is Win 10 doing it. Win 7/8 did it too, just not so many.
As time goes on, more and more hardware drivers are included in the OS install.

You still want to check and verify that these are the latest drivers.

Actually just like USAFRet said, Windows has been doing this since Windows 7. It is a feature that I really like.

I see, but does that feature support only certain Mobo/CPU combination??

As I tried installing original Win 7 Ultimate and also Win 8 Pro on my old PC

i3 540, H55M P33 mobo and it does not has any effect.

No, it works with all CPUs and motherboards and all equipment really. It is a great feature that has been saving me for many years.
