I have been trying to install windows 10 pro, 64 bit using my usb pen drive. I have completed the necessary procedures to make the usb bootable. The problem i am facing is that everytime i try to install the windows in the hard disk an error message pops up saying, 'windows cannot be install, the selected disk is of GPT partition style'. So after that i used rufus to convert the usb to gpt partition style for UEFI boot and also using the iso of windows 10. But i can't boot the pendrive now. The iso file was around 7gb so i had to use the ntfs system. What should i do now rather than converting the hard disk to MBR partition style?

Is this a fresh install? If so, I wish the GPT error just told you what you need to do - it wants you to delete all the partitions on the hdd until its all unallocated space and then click the next button. See step 13 here: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

Remake the USB as FAT32 and get it back to size it was before. It wasn't the problem, I wish Windows errors were written more plainly sometimes. The problem was the hdd, not the USB.
