What happens if i dont put in a Windows Key?

I build a new computer for a family member just for web surfing but I wan to know Something. I use a USB to install Windows 10 but what happen if I put the option I "dont have a Windows key" on a newly built computer? Will the OS still install or will it ask me to put in a Windows key?

It'll still install but it'll keep prompting you to put a product key in, and a lot of the personalization features will be disabled.

It will install, but it will give you 30 days of activation. Then you will flagged for having pirated software and will not be able to use the features within windows. I suggest spending the $90 for the key to get Windows up and running.

No the 30 day thing was on older versions of Windows. It will never stop working

Oh, it was a habit. You are right. Again though, I strongly suggest getting that key though to get the full features.
