I'm in market to buy a new monitor but unable to select the right one for me. Please help me out.
I want a monitor with 34" screen size or more but I'm unable to decide weather to buy a curved or flat for gaming and game programming.

Curved panels either have low resolution of high refresh rate or high resolution with low refresh rates.
Only one with both which I was able to find is Asus PG348Q.
My budget is around $1000. Please help me find a good deal in cyber Monday.
Thanks.

Where it's at in gaming at this point in time is IPS panels with high refersh rates, Motion Blur reduction technology and extremely low lag / response time. Main players here are the 165Hz Acer Predator and Asus Swift series. They have been out I'd guess ayear and half or so and price have climbed ever since because supply mot keeping up with demand.

The 1080 brought is DP 1.4 back in may but why we have not seen DP 1.4 monitors is something no one is reporting on.

Might wanna go over to TFTcentral and read some reviews
