TV's only accept an input maximum of 60Hz (excluding 3D). The extra frames are interpolated by software to produce 120/240 Hz. This also causes extra input lag.
A monitor will accept a true 144Hz and have much lower lag
Interesting... Make sense! which monitor do you recommend for 1440p or 4k (future proof?) monitor with 144hz?
Thank again!
Take a look at this monitor:
https://www.amazon.com/VG248QE-1920x1080-144Hz-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B00B2HH7G0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480549712&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+3d I know it's not a 1440p panel but 1080p is more than enough for gaming. I have three of these myself and the 144hz refresh rate is absolutely amazing for competitive gaming or all gaming in general. A single GTX 970 would not be able to push 4k at a playable framerate, so unless you're planning on upgrading your gpu or go SLI, I would stay away from 4k monitors. Hope this helps
This one You send a link. Asus monitor is look good! yes, 1080p is enough for most games for sure. I agree. Yeah, Geforce 970 not able to run 4k lol. 1080p is fine with me. However, I plan to get a new PC soon since my son want my PC lol.
I will research more gaming monitor... for your link, I'd interesting to get one.
Thank you.
