Hello, I just finished building my first gaming PC. When I power it on, all the components seem to be working fine. But when I connect it to my TV it says "no signal found". I have tried both the VGA and HDMI on the motherboard, and the HDMI on the GPU. Nothing has worked. The GPU has a DVI-D port, but I don't have a DVI to VGA adapter, so I haven't been able to try that yet. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

If you happened to have an extra monitor lying around, use it to check whether your pc vga and hdmi ports working.

If all the ports are working, the problem lies within your TV.

Check your tv settings. Make sure your tv is on hdmi mode when you use hdmi.

i would stick with the hdmi from the gpu to the tv. make sure that you have selected the correct channel or input on the tv.
might also be worth trying it with a friend's monitor to make sure the pc is actually working.
