New MotherBoard old Hardive

So I'll be installing a new CPU, Motherboard, and RAM into my computer, but I will be keeping my hardive, PSU, and GPU. I was wondering this would affect my current Windows 10 OS. Will I be able to theoretically pick up where I left off, or is there more to it than that?

It may work.
It may not.
You may need to reinstall Windows 10.
Even if you do, it may not activate and you may need to purchase a new Windows 10 license.

unless your using a MS login account then your activation remains kept.

You may have other issues i.e. new hardware vs old drivers installed with the old system plus the activation issue.
IMHO, I would simply re-install the OS from scratch, this way you know that the system will be up-to-date.
