LG 29UC88 Curved Monitor vs LG 27UD58 4k Monitor

Hello, I am looking to buy a new monitor for my PC and I would like to know which of those monitors would be better for gaming on an ASUS STRIX GTX 1080: The LG UltraWide 29UC88 link or the LG 4K 27UD58 link

not a fain of either picks.

first off the 29UC88 is a freesync monitor, which is amd tech and not compatible with your 1080. you have a nvidia card. nvidia uses gsync. otherwise its not a bad option.

4k is still not great with a single graphics card. it requires too much power. 1440p is the highest you should go with a single 1080 for enjoyable, smooth game play.

That is what I also thought,4k is too much for the 1080, and no gsync for the ultrawide.

So, from those two shall I get the Ultrawide?
