Hi there,

I would like to ask the community that is it normal? The card works fine but I can't decide, that is the heatsink curved and there is still some burr or some metal left there on it, or is it wrong? Its totally new (bought and built to my pc 5 days ago). I can't find any photos on the internet to compare.

Maybe if someone has a some card GIGABYTE GTX 1070 G1 GAMING please tell me is the card the same or not.

Thanks!

if the burrs are on the fins of the heatsink, then it's no big deal. if they were on the part that makes contact with the actual GPU die then that could be a slight problem

Looks like it got a little smashed at some point. It will have a very minor impact on cooling.

You can always put in an RMA and get a replacement card.

I should add that it is best to do that now rather than later. Physical signs of damage is usually where they draw the line, but since you just bought it, and it would be really hard to do that to an assembled card they should honor it.
