Can i use DVI-D to VGA converter for my LG Flatron E1940S??

I recently got a ZOTAC GTX 1050 Ti OC and found out that my converter (HDMI to VGA) is giving me problems so please tell me that should i use DVI-D to VGA converter or any other one on my display LG Flatron E1940S

No you need an active converter like the one you purchased (though perhaps a better one), the GTX 10 Series does not support VGA (Analog) over DVI.

The active converter could be HDMI to VGA or DP to VGA
