December/January PC Build

+ drkatz42. For your budget and if your main concern is gaming: GTX1060 6GB or RX480 8GB.
Or at least a RX480 4GB.
By all means the i5-6600K is great.
but a i5-6500/stock cpu cooler/B150 motherboard/RX480 8GB will be a stronger build 95% of the time.

I'm planning on OCing the cpu and gpu, only k series cpus are unlocked for OCing. As for the gpu, the 1060 is $50-$100 more than a 1050ti depending on vram and model.

No problem :D

As long as your main concern is overclocking you will indeed have a lot of fun with your present build.
Though even after you overclock the i5-6500/RX480 8GB cheaper build would still be stronger most of times.
But you will have at least one advantage: next gpu upgrade your oced cpu will keep up.

Anyway if your main concern is overclocking stay away from the NZXT HALE82 PSU :D

You could get the plain EVGA 600B 600W 80 Plus Bronze for 50 bucks. Good deal.

My money? Anyone of those: $80 EVGA 650 GQ; $80 SeaSonic SSR-650RM 650W; $95 EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2.
