Zen or I7 7700k

Im upgrading my Fx 8350 soon and ive been looking at the i7 6700k, but as the 7700k is coming out soon I was going to wait for that. Then Zen was rumored to also be coming out in January so im unsure what to do.

Get a 6700k now?
Wait for 7700K?
Wait for Zen?

The easiest way to minimize the chance of disappointment in your purchase is to wait until Zen comes out. We already have information about the performance of the 7700K, but we do not yet have reliable information about Zen. When it is released, it will no doubt be benchmarked against Kaby Lake, and you can make an informed decision then.

As the others say its best to wait. I'm not pinning much hope on Zen but I would like it to be good. It's so close to release why not wait.

We know nothing about Zen so we can't say whether it will be better than the 7700k, which is just going to be the 6700k with an extra 200MHz stock clock speed. Unless AMD comes out and says that Zen is going to be delayed again you might as well wait until January to make a decision and see what the initial availability and price of these chips are going to be.
