The Damn RAM - Corsair Vengeance vs G.Skill Ripjaws V!

Hey guys!

I've finally gotten my components in check and am getting ready to bring this computer to life, but I've hit a wall so to speak.

I'm on the fence w which RAM I should choose - G.Skill 3000 Mhz 16 GB or Corsair Vengeance 3000 Mhz 16 GB.

G.Skill is still out of stock where I am and I have to wait at least 4 weeks for it to get here. Vengeance, however, is available.

My question is: is there really a big difference between G.Skill and Corsair? Anything tangible.

I've poked around the interwebs, but i haven't found anything helpful.

well both are almost the same goddamn thing with different brands the only basic difference i could find was the tested latency on the corsair is 15-17-17-35 and on the g.s is 15-15-15-35 so make your pick

If either have a lower CL it would be slightly better. I lean towards GSkill as they always tend to have OC headroom, and Corsair tends to be overpriced

But is it that noticeable? Is it really like THE deal breaker?
