Runtime Error 1026

So, I've had this error happen to me hundreds of times on my new PC build. Basically, in pretty much any game (Watch Dogs 2, GTA V, BF1/4, CSGO, etc) I'll be able to play for varied amounts of time (sometimes 2 minutes, sometimes 4 hours) before it crashes, with Event Viewer showing Runtime 1026 as the culprit. I've tried everything I know of. Repairing Windows, sfc/scannow, and even reinstalling Windows from scratch. Nothing has seemed to fix the issue, and it's pissing me off, especially since I paid £2500 for a PC with 2 1080's, 6800K, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and I can't even play my games on it. Any suggestions?
