Hi... I just bought a new laptop asus x550v.. I wanna start to set a new window account... I click and it just prompt " just a moment" for almost an hour... Help needed please

Have you managed to get to desktop yet? Are you just creating your first login?

You might want to turn it off and restart it and see what it does.

Now manage to set up... But there is a problem now... No backlight on keyboard

it might be Fn + F4 to turn backlight on, Fn + F3 to turn it off

Is this the model? https://www.asus.com/Notebooks/X550VC/ caused its odd, instructions don't show what F3 & F4 meant to do and I can't see anything about the keyboard lights in your manual: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/X550CC/E_eManual_X550CC_X550VB_X550VC_VER7926.pdf

Is Asus X550VX

have a look in applications for a Asus folder, see if you have something called Asus Live update installed (I would expect its there). Might want to run it and see if any new software for laptop
