Is nvidia geforce gtx 960m good enough to handle a 144 hz monitor?

I have a lenovo y700 that comes with nvidia geforce gtx 960m, and I need to know if it can handle 144 hz fine. I run Overwatch capped at 150 fps and it does fine, so should I run into any issues?

Seems like for Overwatch you'll be ok at least.

That laptop only has an HDMI video output, I don't think it will be able to output 144Hz.

Shld be fine for overwatch. While for most other games, your gpu will be the bottleneck.
