"Your PC needs to be repaired"

So I have the ROG G20 AJ, and it came with a 230w ac adapter and a 65w ac adapter. The 65w was plugged into my monitor and i decided to see what would happen if i put it on the 180w ac adapter connection and i turned on my pc.. It wouldn't turn on so i decided to put the 65w back into the monitor. And I turned on my pc and i got an error.

The error says "your pc needs to be repaired. The boot configuration data file is missing some required information. FILE:\BCD. Error code: 0xc000000d. "
Can anyone help me?

If you could open up command prompt, either with a installation media, or safe mode..you need to rebuild the BCD.

If you are able to open up command prompt, type the following command: bootrec /rebuildbcd

BE CAREFUL REBUILDING YOUR BCD ON YOUR OWN. ONE MISTAKE WILL DELETE ALL DATA.

I would look into using a trial of a program called EASYBCD, put it on a flash, boot, use it to repair the bcd on your main drive for your instillation.

Simplest method is going to be pop in your Windows CD or USB, boot from it, & run the Recovery Environment (or, if you don't have the disk/USB, hit the Power Button 3 times).

I hit the power button x3 and I got the same error. I'm going to have to buy an installation disc.

If you have access to another computer download Windows 10, and use the pre-installation environment to open up command prompt. This will allow you rebuild your BCD
