So, as everybody knows, Christmas are coming and I'm planning (as always xD) to buy 3 monitors. But. Is 3 monitors alot ? I don't know if 2 monitors are enough. Shoud I go with 3 monitors ? I'm a gamer but not a HARDCORE gamer. But I have that feeling that I need just more than 1 monitor...

Solution
5760x1080=6,220,800 pixels per frame x 80fps = 497,664,000 pixels per second you need to render
For a comparison: 4k 60fps
3840x2160=8,294,400 pixels per frame x 60fps = 497,664,000 pixels per second you need to render
And seeing how the GTX 1080 can't get 60fps at 4k on most games, I would say, unless you turned the settings down, no. Maybe in CS:GO as it is much less taxing but not GTA V
If money is no object get 3440x1440p ultrawide monitor and your good to go.
as far as gaming its only possible with 3 monitors if you reallyw ant multiple ones with 2 what would you see in the middle ... i use 2 1 is for game and other just to open browser etc...
btw any of these setups would need beefy video card.

So thank you for answering first of all. And now I choosed. If I want 3 monitors on a monitors stand. Will GTX 1070 and i7 run 3 monitors in Nvidia surround ? 5760x1080 ?

Maybe but it will struggle to get 60fps.

Yes should run fine although i am not sure that would be better than getting 1 single monitor that is 1440p and high refresh rate.

And what if I get GTX 1080
Will GTA V or CS:GO be at 80+ FPS ?

fps is mainly depending on resolution and gpu.
but at UHD and/or high end/multi gpu the cpu will also help, so wait for zen which will be as fast as 6900k.

run a large (maybe ultra wide) moni, rather than multiple smaller ones. will be easier to install/run and look better
(no gaps u normally have when using 2 or 3 monis).

for 1440p a 1070/80 would be enough, 4K/UHD at 2160p you should get a 1080, but i would wait for 1080Ti info.

my 32" is finally enough estate for me (vs 27/28), but for ultra wide go with a 34-36.
