wondering what kind of monitor i should buy?

hey guys just curious with my current setup i have wondering what kinda of monitor i should get 4k? or something else? wanna do MAYBE 4k in the future.

short list of my current build

AMD FX 8350 OC to 4.5ghz
MSI GTX 1070 Aero edition 8gb
16gb but waiting till i get paid to get 16gb more.
the monitor i have is ok but can only do 1920x1080
wanna do everything maxed out on ultra and fps for most games.
did kinda get the 1070 for VR in the future when the price of the oculus goes down in canada $900 to much at the moment.

You'd need a 1080 for 4k. I'd suggest a nice 2k monitor unless you're upgrading soon.

Aside from that, what games do you play, and what's your budget?
