Hello everyone at Tom's Hardware. First time posinging, been reading and taking advice here for about 3 years. So I just built an absolute monster of a Gaming Rig, Strickly for HIGH HIGH Performance Gaming, Particualrly for Professional Overwatch gaming. But, I have not found the Monitor that truly gives this Card (EVGA GTX 1080 FTW ) the full justice it deserves.
My Monitor Requirements that are indisputable are.
1. The Monitor must have ~1 > MS Responds Time. fast fast fast!!!!
2 144hz At the VERY least.. I am can be running Overwatch at 160~ at FULL ULTRA settings LITERALLY everything is a high as it goes.
3. I have Another GTX 1080 On the way.
4. My Budget is roughly 800$. Lets just buy 1 monitor for now, and I will buy another one in a few months..
5. The Monitor must be Professional Gaming Quality.

Thank you everyone for you help and comments I need your ADVICE.

PS. You can see the rig in action at www.twitch.tv/Svornair.
Thank You.

I would go with the

ASUS ROG PG279Q

or

ASUS ROG PG278Q

The only question would be, do you want the TN panel which is cheaper, but conforms to your 1ms response time requirement, or do you want to pay $100 more for the IPS, which will have a better picture image, and a higher frame cap (165 vs 144), but has a lower response time of 4ms.

In my opinion you will not notice the difference between 144 and 165 frames, nor 4ms and 1ms, but you would notice the difference between TN and IPS, so I would go with the PG279Q.

And for the record, according to this:

A single 1080, is more than capable of pushing ultra 1440p Overwatch to 170+ frames, so you really don't...

A single 1080, is more than capable of pushing ultra 1440p Overwatch to 170+ frames, so you really don't need a second 1080. You could save some money there.
