i had the same asus panel/size and its nice, especially since it doesnt ghost or get blurry under movement,
but the ips panels still arent as good overall as others (edge bleed and a bit too much saturation).
and its only 1080p, which i now see as too low, to do anything bigger than 24/25in.
check amazon for used/refurb.
i got my PB328Q for 400$ (700 new). has 10bit amva+ panel with great/accurate colors (almost as "popping" as ips), flicker free dimming, 1440p and can do 75Hz. refresh.
anytime i see something that is actually "outperforming" it, its either a ~1000$ Gsync, some 144Hz ultra wide or a professional screen for way more...
you can run windows @1440p for more detail, and games @1080p for better performance...
