Hello everyone. I have been looking at this for weeks and I still cannot figure it out. Basically every 1-2 times a day my computer shuts down whilst gaming. It gave the "whea_uncorrectable_error" BSOD error a few times but since then has only frozen and made a brrrr sound (no memory dumps have ever been created as the system freezes before it can collect any data). *I have only had this pc for two months so I am using the option to send to repair as a last minute resort right now (finally have holidays and it would be a shame to send it now but "first world problems".

My system configuration (Speccy):

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have done the following:
- RESET PC COMPLETELY
- WINDOWS MEMORY DIAGNOSTICS
- SFC/SCANNOW
- DISM CLEAN UP
can´t even remember what else.. pretty much everything you can do.. I am guessing this could be related to the voltage, power supply failure or CPU failure.

Windows Hardware Error Architecture (WHEA) errors are normally tied to the CPU. Sometimes it can be the BIOS for the motherboard
Event 41 is just a reaction to the crash, its not the cause. Windows runs a report every startup and if it finds PC didn't shut down right, it creates an Event 41

Download this and run it on PC: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool

Is the PC homemade or is it under a warranty? If it was built by someone else I would (depending on result of intel tests) probably send it back to them and ask them to replace CPU

If you made PC yourself, you might want to check the pins for the CPU and make sure none are bent.

Hello Colif, thanks for your prompt reply. I ran the test and everything was a PASS. Could this be a driver issue?I guess I will send it back to the people who made this PC (it was custom built by a company).

Nope never touched the OC.. so weird.. and already updated the BIOS. The previous version was also giving the BSOD.

Hello SR-71. Nope never OC'ed anything since I got the pc. I tried running the Primetest 95 and it gave me the BSOD after a few minutes, redid the test and the same happened. I am thinking despite the intel pass, my CPU might be faulty. What are your thoughts?
