144hz monitor looks staticy and fuzzy above 60hz.

144hz monitor goes really fuzzy and staticy and basically unuseable above 60hz, (Using GTX 970 and the monitor is using AMD Freesync) The monitor is called an AOC 2460G4. I'm also using a VGI cable.

VGA can't do 144hz. Should be using displayport or DVI.

Whoops looks like im muddling up VGA and DVI. Im using a DVI cable. and I switched to another DVI cable. Dodgy DVI, I imagine
