Im buying a windows 10 computer because my old one died and the old one has windows 7 on it is it possible to add the windows, 7 hard drive to my new, windows 10

Well you probably need to buy a SATA cable to connect to the motherboard, and also see if the power supply has a SATA power connector. If not, a USB 3.0 HDD enclosure is probably your best bet. I wouldn't recommend it for an everyday drive, just like a external hard drive.
No it is not. They are completely different operating systems. Not to mention the Windows 10 motherboard is tied to the license key. I would get a HDD enclosure, and grab your data from there. Your games, software, and other installed items will not be able ot be transferred.
