Dual monitor problem - 2nd monitor d-sub Out of range

Hello, today i bought a new monitor and im trying to use the old one as second monitor, with the main monitor (Benq Zowie Rl2455) is all fine, but i can´t use the second one because it says
"D-SUB Out of range 67.6 kHz/ 60 Hz" The main monitor is connected via HDMI and the second is connected via VGA.

usually cause of this msg is your trying to use a refresh rate or resolution that the monitor does not support. try a lower refresh rate or resolution in the control panel
