Looking to connect a hdmi and a vga monitor to my GPU?

Solution
Up to you to determine the validity of the reviews. Personally, I don't trust them. Ideally, you'd want to replace your display with one that accepts a native digital input. Barring that, you can try the converter. It may work. It may not.

You need to verify the DVI port on your graphics card. DVI-I will have the four pins surrounding the slot. DVI-D will not. If it's DVI-I, then the adapter you connected will work just fine. If not, then, as maxalge states, you will need an active converter to change the digital signal to an audio signal.

Note: Last I heard, the GTX 1000 series cards discontinued all analog support by removing the DVI-I port.

Is this one that would work? And yes the GTX1000 does discontinue analog support just realized the difference in visual appearance between DVI-I and DVI-D.
