Hi, I am deciding between Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2000GB and WD Blue 2000GB. I tried to browse trougth this forum but I was not able to find comparsion of these two in 2tbs versions. I would like to use it mostly for gaming. Which one is better for me? These 2 are almost the same price in Slovakia.

Normally I stick with WD, simply based on reviews and perceived reliability from customer reviews. It simply looks like WD is more reliable. I will say though, that i have never had a seagate drive fail on me yet. I do have a 1TB that came in an OEM HP computer that has been flawless, and additionally, i picked up a 2TB on sale that was priced about the same as a 1TB drive, on NewEgg.. time will tell if it lasts or not.

I've only had one Seagate drive NOT fail on me. Whereas of the nearly two dozen WDs I've bought over the years, only two of those failed. Whole-heartedly support WD over Seagate, 100%.
