What is the easiest way to connect my GTX 980 to triple monitors for NVIDIA surround?

Recently I have just acquired a three new monitors for my setup, I got three monitors so I can play games using NVIDIA surround. I have Dell ultrasharp U2414H monitors. I first connected then using the daisychain method which worked fine for Windows extending displays etc but I'm unable to use the daisy chain method for surround. Basically all I need to know is what is the simplest way of my monitors been able to work with surround. My monitors only have a HDMI connection and a display port connection if that helps? I have had a quick read online and everything seems to be confusing. Will it work if I connect one monitor to HDMI, one to Dvi to HDMI then the other, DP to HDMI?

It will work. I've connected each monitor to each port (1 HDMI and 2 DP) and was able to enable surround on my PC. Do you have DisplayPort cables?

As long as each monitor is connected to its own port it'll work. It doesn't matter what port. It doesn't matter if an adapter is used. If you already daisy chained, save money, use your dp cables.

If you do have adapters, I believe they have to be active. But if your monitors have DP ports, then get real DP cables.

I read that on most descriptions for adapters for Eyefinity to work. Assumed it was the same for Surround...but good to know though.
