Two monitors on one GPU

Hey guys bit of an issue here, i have two monitors both which are VGA but my GPU only has one VGA Slot. ( MSI 960 http://techteamgb.co.uk/2015/02/04/msi-gtx-960-gaming-2g-review/2/ )

Im guessing in order to get them both set up i would need to purchase a vga to displayport adapter similar to this here http://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/wc-prod-pim/JPEG_1000x1000/CODPVGAD_comsol_comsol_displayport_vga_adap_black.jpg


Just looking for the opinion on someone with more experience than myself. Thank you very much!

Buy one VGA to HDMI or DVI-D.
I don't own a VGA slot so I am currently running one VGA to HDMI and one VGA to DVI-D.

Is it possible for you to connect one through your card, Your primary monitor. Connect your secondary monitor through your MOBO if the connection is supported there.

For adapters, to go from your GPU to your MONITOR, you need to buy ACTIVE DISPLAYPORT TO VGA

You need this ACTIVE adapter in order to convert the Display Port signal given by your card into VGA.

DP is a digital signal, while VGA is a Analog, so you are required to have an active adapter to convert these 2 signals.

So purchase 1 DP -VGA ACTIVE adapter, and connect your SECONDARY monitor through our VGA, as VGA has much less support for greater resolutions and refresh rates.

In the future I would recommend investing in a new monitor ASAP. Using VGA you will not get that Crsip vibrant image that you so desire.

You simply said "a quick search" You never specifically said "Hey these are what you need". For all i know you could just be linking examples of active adapters that could possibly not be what i need.

possibly, i get confused very quickly with these things. The x-lent one unfortunately does not ship to canada.

Bailo i appreciate your feedback, everyones been a great help. Its just some old dusty monitor i had sitting around for awhile so i was looking to get something a little on the cheaper end. I ordered that part barty! ill let you know how it goes. Thanks guys
