Why does Windows give me an option between operating systems?

Basically when I boot up to windows there's a blue screen with a selection: Windows 10 or Windows 7. Whichever one you click it always boots into windows 10. Why? I had a secondary SSD in the past with windows 7 on it but i took it out.

Did you somehow leave/put the Win 7 boot partition on the new SSD? What partitions does your disk have in disk management?

Still has your old BCD from windows 7, You need to type msconfig in the search bar upon startup, Go to the boot tab, Delete the windows 7 entry. problem Solved.
