First time building mini ATX...need some help

First time building a Mini ATX. Need something portable to take to work and back home. Already have the 970 GPU. Have a second one in my full ATX that I could possibly use to SLI if I ever upgrade that.
I will pick the CPU cooler once I know how much space I have left

Already had a suggestion to switch the mobo to ASROC Z270 instead of Z170?

Prolimatech makes the Samuel 17 cooler which fits well in mini ITX so it should fit well in your build and does a good job in my opinion.
