I need a new cable for my monitor

So I have a really old Samsung Sync Master 530TFT (From 1999). The cable on it is shot and the end going into the monitor is DFP 26pin and the other end you plug into your computer is VGA. The problem is that the only DFP Cables I can find are DVI-D to DFP, and since my monitor is VGA I don't think It'll support a digital signal. I was wondering if there is a way around this because the only proper cable I can find is from some strange website. I think that you can use a DFP to DVI and then a DVI to VGA passive adapter.

Except on all the DFP to DVI connectors, the DVI end only has digital connections
Or would that not matter?

Goofygiggles, in what way is your cable shot? that cable won't work as it is a 15 pin female connector but it has to be a male connector to connect to the computer.

Did you look at my pictures? and I have a male to female converter. The end on my monitor also is female.
