Certain programs won't launch

I'm having an issue with particular programs on my computer. I've noticed it on two programs. One of them gives me a "X has stopped working" error when i try to launch it but if i attempt to launch it repeatedly it will eventually launch amid many error messages. The other, however, will never launch no matter what I do. What might be causing this and how do I fix it? Thanks

Try right clicking on the program exe file and running the program in admin mode KHG.

Also in windows security center if the set the security level for UAC to a medium setting if currently set to high in windows .

thanks for your help but I can't find windows security center in my search bar. Is it in firewall or something? Also the program launched this time so basically it is like the other problem program, only launching every now and then.
