Hello, i wanted to ask for help about the black screen problem i am facing.

Display is ok with microsoft basic video adapter. But as soon as i install the driver of Intel HD 4600 the computer screen goes blacks. But when i plugging HDMI port to My External Monitor (My Sony TV) , Laptop Screen is back but in "NVIDIA Control Panel Software" not detect My Laptop Display :( They just detected External Monitor.

I updated Bios Acer v1.08 to v1.15 and upgrade windows 10, I start researching and did everything i could find on the internet. Reset and Refresh Windows. and everything i could find on the internet but nothing resolvee the problem.

when i following this thread , they haved solved problem by updating Bios. i think this problems with my Bios ACER v1.15

My Laptop is ACER VN7-591G. have 2 Graphics Card VGA Intel HD 4600 & GTX860M

I would suggest you to do a clean driver installation of the GPU driver, sometimes Windows' updates will overwrite the genuine drivers and occasionally corrupt them.

There's an option that you can configure which is to tell windows not to update 3rd party software/drivers during it's updates
To do this, go "My PC" right click on it, click on "Advanced system settings.", Hardware - "No, let me choose what to do, Never driver software from Windows Update".

After that, uninstall nVidia from Control Panel then delete it's folder from C drive or wherever you have it installed.
Once everything has been removed from the system, restart it, try to run the driver as admin, and once the nVidia driver is running, select the option to do a Clean Install so it can remove all the remains of the previous drivers and give it a test.

Hope this helps!

Yesterday, I tried to reinstall Windows 10, delete + Format all Disk and create new, after that I tried to Manual install Driver and when last Step to install Driver Intel HD Graphics 4600, black screen is back :( . DO you think this problems with Hardware (Like Chip CPU or VGA ) . When i connect laptop from back port with extra monitor and laptop is working with extra monitor but still laptop screen is black. When I disable Display Adapter Intel Graphics HD 4600 and back to Microsoft Adapter Display Basic, Laptop Screen is back. :( any advice ? Most likely my laptop has made my external monitor to my primary display
