Ram stops my monitor displaying pc

So i was using my pc fine i use it for gaming pretty much daily i left my pc on for like 10 minuets came back the screen wasn't on tried to press buttons etc to see if it had just gone to sleep it wouldn't come back on so i restarted the pc this is where i had issues when i turned it back on i couldn't get my display to work i tested the screen and made sure everything was plugged in. i finally took out both ram sticks tried to turn on my pc didn't get any beeps or anything put 1 ram stick back in and boom it came on but when i put the other one in it stops my display from working. I tested both ram slots they work fine with this 4gb ddr3 ram stick but my other one on its own or with this one stops my display could there be any stupid reason i have missed that is causing this to happen? the computer is only about a month old was working fine until now

If one of the sticks does not work, bad stick. If system is a month old it's in warranty, get the stick replaced.
