Acer H236HLbid would changing from DVI cable to DP cable bring any benefit for this monitor?

This is my current monitor and I'm running a DVI cable, would upgrading to a DP cable bring any benefit? The monitor is only 60hz

No. That monitor also lacks a DP port, so you would need to use some sort of adapter. Nothing would be gained as you already have a digital connection via the DVI port in place.
