I just got a new Kingston UV400 120gb ssd to use as a boot drive...

- So i unplugged my HDD that currently has windows on it (with intentions of formatting that drive after i get windows on my new ssd)
- I am using a USB to install windows 10 (that i have recently used on another PC to install windows with)
- When i get to the point where i choose which drive/partition to install windows on there are two options
Drive 0 Partition 1: New Volume |Total Size: 127MB | Free space: 115MB |Type: Primary
or
Drive 0 Partition 2: New Volume | Total Size 111.7GB | Free space 111.6GB | Type: Primary

When i select the 2nd partition it gives me the message "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information see the Setup log files"

I tried following these steps

http://windowsreport.com/we-couldnt-create-a-new-partition/

but under solution 2 at step 5 when I type Active it tells me "the selected disk is not a fixed mbr disk"

how do i get windows 10 on to this damn ssd?!

thanks in advance
