New modem router

It's been 2 yeas since I got this netgear d6300 and I think its time for an upgrade, with all of these dns server is not responding messages I'm pretty sure its dying. therefor i am in need of a new modem/router pref inbuilt adsl2+ for online gaming, streaming and for a 2 story house. I am on the NBN too,willing to pay a fair amount but not sure what to get.

You do not want combo modem and router. Get a DSL modem compatible with your ISP and your service, then shop around for "best" router.
