Im going to build my PC the CPU will be either 6600k or 7600k and i will be overclocking the CPU.

I'm finding a motherboard for my build and yeah it must be z170 or z270
what board should i get BUDGET for board not more than 200$
are these boards good ?
ASUS z270-a
ASUS z270 strix z170f
MSI z270 gaming pro carbon
MSI z270 Krait
MSI gaming m5

Which ? and Why ?
you can recommend me other board aswell.

EDIT : add GA-Z270X-Gaming K5 in the list

Firstly, If your ram Choice was to be 2666mhz then your choices are self restricting to only Asus PRIME Z270-A & Asus STRIX Z270F
All the other board support DDR4-2133 / 2400 / 2800 / 3000 / 3200 / 3600 / 3800
All boards support 2400 Ram though

Assuming if your going to be using a 6600K or 7600 K with 2400 Mhz Ram or 2133

Asus PRIME Z270-A
Asus STRIX Z270F
MSI Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON
MSI Z270 KRAIT GAMING
MSI Z270 GAMING M5

all pretty equivalent boards to be honest, personally I am an Asus guys, never seem to be lucky with quality of MSI boards being DOA or DOA after a month...

I like my boards to be rugged and last me 4-7 years
so since your prioce range is about 200$ I would go for the
Asus TUF 270 MARK 1

and hard to beat the look :)

I have a tight budget MARK 1 is a bit too expensive for me( z20F in my country is like 210 and MARK 1 is like 310)
So i think i will go with z20f it should be good right

I5-7600K is likely to overclock much higher than a I5-6600K.
As of 1/13/17
What percent of samples can get an overclock
at a vcore around 1.4v.
I5-7600K
5.1 28%
5.0 52%
4.9 72%
By comparison :
I5-6600K
5.2 <1% delidded
4.9 14%
4.8 38%
4.7 67%
4.6 87%

I would go with the latest gen Z270 motherboards.
All will be able to OC decently.
The plus is that you will get support for Optane, whatever that turns out to be.
I see the Z270 motherboards as costing no more.
You may find that M-ATX will be cheaper.
Really, do you need more than 4 expansion slots?
