Which ssd / hd combination is suggested to have decent performance and not have any overheating problems with this build. Trying to keep withing a $200+/- cdn budget.

CPU: intel i5 7600k 3.8ghz
Cooler: Cooler master Hyper 212 EVO (might upgrade this cooler system)
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix z270 gaming
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC gaming
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650W Gold
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb (2x8) ddr4 3000

This was my original choice. Better ideas?
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250gb
HD: WD Blue 1TB 64mb

Another Option I had was the SAMSUNG 850 EVO M.2 2280 500GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal SSD. This would replace both drives. Just wondering which would be better for over heating prevention and such. I also have an external hd that i could use.

I will look into a better cpu cooler. Just seen that that EVO 212 had really good reviews and price.

I am building pretty much for the strict purpose of gaming. Mainly cs go; and potentially other games in the future. I am not using for anything else really. no video rendering, editing or photoshop.

The only programs ill have are the OS and CSGO. which isn't more than 100gb at all. so i'm just trying to determine what the best route for performance vs cost efficiency is so i can use the money elsewhere on the build.
