I am building a new computer and o was hoping that I could move my laptop m.2 SSD which has windows 10 over to my new build to save some money on Windows.
No you cant but if you take the m.2 ssd and reset it with a new copy of windows and use the activation key used to activate it currently then you will be fine with any bios issue

If you are currently running Windows 10 version 1607 and it is tied to your Microsoft account, you might be able to do it. Make sure of those two things then just give it a try.
