Hi
sorry there isn't a picture but;

1.I have a TN display benqxl2430t
2.the pixel is only off-color on black background(when there is no color)
3.the pixel is red-green depending on where you look at it.
4.the pixel works perfectly on red, green, blue, white backgrounds./or mid colors
5.I thoroughly tested before I bought it, i believe it occured recently.
6. tried rubbing but fearing i'll damage it, i will run a software overnight fingers crossed.

should i hope that it'll disappear over time, or accept it as it is?

Solution

Yes, it's stuck. The reason it changes colors at angles is because TN panels have awful color shift at angles.

thank you very much, at least I'll now have a hope :)

such a bummer that i tested this display so thoroughly to avoid any pixel defects, but got one after 5 months.

Well to be fair, there's over 2 million pixels in a 1080p display. A single failure isn't so bad huh?
;)

yep you are right:), what boggles me is that this isn't a cheap display, my old cheap samsung still shows no sign of defects after 5 years of 24-7 abuse. apparently if it can go wrong it will :)

still it's only barely visible only when it's pitch black. so I believe i can live with it.

thank you mate, have a great life.
