Please help me fix my monitor after dropping it....help!

I dropped my brand new Acer laptop today and now I have this weird little patch of red and green dots (about 2" in size) on my monitor.
I am so sick about this, is there a way to fix this?
I have included a couple pics to show it on a white background. Any help or advice please??
