Windows 10 activation key problem

I upgraded from windows 7 to 10 through the free upgrade scheme a while ago however yesterday I completely formatted both my drives and now I am not sure how to get my product key?

Your key is your Windows 10 hardware profile or if you had it linked to a Microsoft account , the account is your key.

Just install 10 again it will ACTIVATE.

As long as you sign in with the Microsoft account previously used it will find the key.

You don't need it.
If you're just reinstalling in the same system, just reinstall.
The 'digital entitlement' is already stored at home base.

It will activate once you go online.

exactly, i have done many fresh installs and not had it fail to activate yet. same hardware is no biggie at all. MS servers will already know this pc is good to go and will activate once it connects to the web.

just install and it'll all be fine
