Tried to use the Reset This PC feature and I get an error saying "there was a problem resetting your PC so can I repair my PC using a USB Bootable drive with an older Windows 10 build? My current one is the Anniversary edition

It should work.
Give it a try.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from NDDU Julius BSIT : "What can be activated using Windws RTM CoreSingleLanguage OEM: DM"

What was originally installed on the laptop?
Win 10 Home?

As said elsewhere....create your own USB or DVD
Wipe and reinstall...killing off whatever your 'idiot engineer' did.
It should, in theory, activate what was on the laptop originally.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from NDDU Julius BSIT : "What version of Windows is an RTM CoreSingleLanguage OEM:DM?"

I don't know... it was running Windows 10 Pro before I sent it back for warranty

OK...I've merged all this into one, because it is the same question.

Was the laptop new or used when you got it?
If new, what was on it?
If used...what was on it, how did it get there, was it valid (not 'idiot engineer'), was it actually activated?
Where did the WIN 10 Pro come from?

Yes it was brand new...complete with the box, manual, wrappers, stickers, and everything....
It was only opened when the shop owner tested out the device to see if it was working
I remember while using it for the first time seeing the activation waiting for me to activate my key online

So did it come with Win 10 Pro?
Did you actually activate it?

So...
Create a new Win 10 Pro install DVD or USB
Install it (wipe whatever crap your idiot put on there)
See what happens with the activation.

If it fails, you may need to call the manufacturer, Microsoft, or wherever you got the Win 10 Pro from.

Okay finally took it to the shop and they said it used to be running on Windows 10 Home (I did not notice though) and the engineer installed a pirated copy of Win 10 Pro because he did not know what version it was running originally and he did not know where to get my OEM key... well he is stupid

Don't patronize that shop anymore.
If he is that clueless, what other idiot things is he doing?

Installing a pirate OS on a customers system? Major fail.
(and this is not the first time he did this)
