Hello everyone - any help is appreciated

I'm looking to buy a PC with the following specs:

Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz (Max 4.5GHz) Processor 16GB DDR4 SDRAM / 64GB (Max) Memory SATA III Storage Controller 128GB NVMe PCIe SSD Hard Drive 1TB - SATA III - 7200 rpm Hard Drive N/A Optical Storage AMD Radeon RX 470 Graphics 4GB Dedicated Video Memory Video Memory 600 Watt - AC 120/230 V ( 50/60 Hz) "Integrated - 10/100/1000 Ethernet802.11AC Wi-Fi" Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit Edition

With the following HP Omen monitor:

32-inch screen 2560 x 1440 @ 75Hz Native resolution 3000:1 static; 10000000:1 dynamic Contrast ratio 300 cd/m² Brightness 5 ms on/off Response time 2 HDMI (with HDCP support); DisplayPort 1.2

I'm a bit nervous about the 1440p monitor not working well with the GPU. I'm not a huge gamer right now, but I don't want to have any trrrible limitations in the near future.

What do you all think?

Would you pick a PC with a GTX 1060 instead? That's another option I have and I understand the free sync feature on the monitor won't work with NVIDIA.

First comment is always build for your current needs and not what might be in the future. Computers change so fast that trying to future proof is kinda like trying to drive a car while blindfolded. You just don't know what's coming next.

Now I am going to guess based on how your specs are listed that this is a pre-built computer that you are looking at. Be advised that you pay a premium for pre-built systems, behind all that wonderful looking techno-babble can be components of inferior quality. There are other options if you want to explore them and save some money.

Now an RX 470 is a bit weak for 1440p so that might be a problem. The 1060 is a better choice.
