This is starting to get annoying. Whenever i start playing a game the green screen comes after max. 10 minutes. I can't do anything when the green screen comes. Theres no text, no photo or anything like that, just plain green. Please help me

Solution
A burning smell from a PSU means it's dead, even if it's alive. I'd want a quality power supply in the future anyway - this wasn't exactly a PSU you should have been putting additional strain on.

I'm not running the insider build(insider is build14997, im running build14393). Yesterday I realised that my PSU was damaged by the OC I've done a while ago. Can it be the reason? Also the WhoCrashed application seems to be not collecting crash dump files.

What are specs of the PC?

I had to look it up as I wasn't sure if an OC could damage a PSU but it depends on what you have there as to whether it can or not, depends on quality of PSU - http://www.hardocp.com/article/2015/02/27/how_does_my_power_supply_impact_overclocking

I guess since you not on insider, it wasn't an actual error and explains why no whocrashed report... that doesn't really help.

tried upgrading graphics card drivers?

How old is the RX 470? seems its an AMD themed error, i can't tell if its drivers or hardware though

https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/414hld/green_screen_then_computer_restarts/

1.Update BIOS
2.Uninstall all AMD software and clean your system in safe mode by DDU program and install 16.11.5 driver.
Don`t use 16.12.X drivers

https://community.amd.com/thread/210590

advice seems to be use older drivers

edit: just noticed the advice was contradictory

RX470 is new, got it 2 or 3 weeks ago also updated BIOS and VBIOS to the latest version but theres a smell like burning plastic coming from the PSU. Does it mean the PSU is dead?
