pc keeps crashing while gaming

i just built my own pc and its all working fine exept for as soon as i play games my screen turns into a random color and i have to reset my pc.

specs:
i5-6500
amd rx480 g1 8gb
gygabyte z170
corsair cx500 psu
corsair vengeance lpx 16gb ddr4

i have no clue what is wrong and already tried reinstalling drivers
also used prime95 for cpu but dont know if that works for testing the ram.

Try taking out your GPU and using Integrated. See if that works. If it doesn't reply to this thread again for more help.

i played games for 30mins without any crashes.
is it most certainly my gpu now and can i fix it in any way?

I would say yes, it is your GPU. Contact the manufacturer or distributor (site where you bought it from) and ask for a refund or ask for them to resend you a new one. Hope this helped. If you want to get a new GPU entirely and are willing to spend more I would recommend a 1070.
